Barbara Ann Meyer Haddix, wife of Ronald Hoppy Haddix, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016. She was a 76 year old native of Mt. Sterling, daughter of the late George Robert and Gladys Bowling Meyer, retired AT&T employee, former bus monitor for the Montgomery County School System and a member of Grassy Lick Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter, Rhonda (Randy) Anderson of Mt. Sterling, 3 grandsons, Cecil Patrick Pergram and Jason Anderson, both of Mt. Sterling and Sean (Jessica) Anderson of Winchester, 5 great-grandchildren, a sister, Faye (Gilbert) Berryman and a brother Kenneth (Janice) Meyer, both of Mt. Sterling, a niece, Cheri (Kevin) Wright of Nicholasville, 3 nephews, Robin (Caroline) Meyer of Mt. Sterling, Jerry Meyer of Lexington and Kent (Marian) Berryman of Bristol, Virginia, and special friend, Gina Baldwin of Mt. Sterling.
Her funeral will be 11:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9:00 Sunday.
