Barbara Kaye Kemplin Perry, wife of Nathan Perry Jr., of Alvaton, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015. She was a 61 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Ireland and Monnie Collins Kemplin, a homemaker and member of the Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Michelle (Alan) Taylor and a granddaughter, Kasey Lauren Taylor, both of Bowling Green, 4 sisters, Frances Reed of Jeffersonville, Fredia Ann Byrd of Frenchburg, Charlene Hennies of Florida and Susan Kemplin of Lexington, and 3 brothers, Willie Kemplin of South Carolina, Tim Kemplin of Frenchburg and Johnny Kemplin of Jeffersonville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Jewell Dickens and 2 brothers, Wales and Gene Kemplin. Her funeral will be 10:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Friday.
