Ben Curtis Lykins, husband of Barbara Ann Skaggs Lykins, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017. He was a 78 year old, born in Campton, Kentucky to the union of the late Curtis Stanley and Ethel Edith Culbertson Lykins, and Army veteran, retired truck driver and member of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Ben (Cinda) Lykins Jr., a daughter, Brenda Lee Krisher-Piersall, a granddaughter, Brittany (Daniel) Wells, a grandson, Bradley (Jessica) Krisher, and 3 great-grandchildren, Logan James, Jameson and Finn Krisher, 2 brothers, Winfred Lykins and James Lykins, and 7 sisters, Marie Mann, Geneva Rose, Ruby Centers, Clara Little, Georgia Becraft, Doris Jones, and Reva Pitts. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lykins, and 5 brothers, Roger, Larry, Gene, Bill and Remus Lykins.
His funeral will be 12:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lane Lykins Cemetery. Visitation is 11-12:00 Wednesday.
