Betty Ann (Oliver) Sparks

March 27, 1932 ~ April 13, 2018 (age 86)

Betty Ann Oliver Sparks, widow of Elmer Sparks, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018.  She was an 86 year old native of Owsley County, daughter of the late Herman and Fannie Mae Oliver, a homemaker and member of Morris Creek Baptist Church in Stanton.

She is survived by 2 sons, Ronnie Sparks of Nicholasville and Danny (Donna) Sparks of Lexington, 2 daughters, Ruth Burton of Lexinton and Sandra Kay Crank of Greensburg, 17 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Verlin and Coy Oliver.

She was preceded in death by a son, Elmer Glenn Sparks, a daughter, Carolyn Davidson, a sister, Zella Oliver, a brother, Herman Oliver Jr. and 2 grandchildren, Ronnie Lee Sparks Jr. and Michael Sparks.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Monday.
