Charles Ray "Chuck" Agee, husband of Ellen McBurnie Agee, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016. He was a 78 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Lynn Boyd Agee and Christine Summers Agee Vinson, former construction superintendent for Hinkle Contracting and Judy Construction Company, and member of Life Impact Church.
In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by 2 sons, Michael (Pam) Agee of Jeffersonville and James (Kim) Agee of Mt. Sterling, 2 daughters, Debra A. Howard of Mt. Sterling and Jennifer (William) Hall of Nicholasville, a stepdaughter, Marie Darrell of Mt. Sterling, a brother, Lynn Allen (Margaret) Agee of Murfreesboro, TN, 5 grandchildren, Michelle (Andrew) Slone, Brandon Agee, Taylor Agee and Sydney Agee, all of Mt. Sterling and Kerri Howard of Chicago, IL, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, Leslie (Derrick) Jones, Antonio and Elizabeth Guadarrama, and several aunts, cousins, nephews and a niece. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an ex-wife, Sue Rose Agee Darrell.
His going home celebration will be 5:00 Sunday at the Life Impact Church. Visitation will be 3-5:00 Sunday at the church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements. Donations are requested to the Gateway Humane Society, the National Parkinson's Foundation or St. Claire Hospice.
