Clarence Grinstead Estes Jr., husband of Frances Tipton Estes, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016. He was an 86 year old, born in Irvine, Kentucky to the union of the late Laura Belle Phillips Estes and Clarence Grinstead Estes Sr. He was a Marine veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Connie Estes and Nancy Moore and her husband, Wade Moore, , 2 grandchildren, Erica Back and Cooper Moore, 1 great-grandson, Kingston Back, a brother, R.C. Estes, 7 sisters, Ann Myer, Barbara Hurst, Betty Rushford, Virginia Hughes, Loretta Highley, Eura Lee Jones and Bonnie Toy, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, J.B., Thomas and Wilburn Estes.
His funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Sunday.
