Clyde V. Oldson, husband of Gladys Allen Oldson, of Paris, passed away Friday, October 13, 2017. He was a 90 year old native of Bourbon County, son of the late Abraham and Lourena Laughlin Oldson, a Navy veteran of WWII, a farmer and member of North Middletown Christian Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter-in-law, Barbara Oldson of Bourbon County, a grandson, Jonathan Oldson of Mt. Sterling, a granddaughter, LeeAnne Blake of Lexington, 2 great-grandchildren, Shelby and Jared, 1 great-great-grandchild, Roman, and 2 special friends, Darrell and Lisa.
He was preceded in death by a son, Barry Oldson and a great-grandson, Mathew Oldson.
His funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at North Middletown Christian Church with burial in North Midddletown Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday at the church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
