Cora Faye Allen was born July 28, 1934, daughter of the late James and Liddie Taulbee Allen, in Magoffin County. She was convertied and joined the United Bapitst Church and was baptised July 21, 1951 at the Grape Creek Church. She is survived by 2 sisters, Joyce Ann Short of Owingsville and Maudie Prater of Mt. Sterling, a brother, Mitchell Allen of Mt. Sterling and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers, Donnie Allen, George Stanley Allen, William Knovie Allen, Vernell Allen, and Phillip Vinson Allen, and 2 sisters, Opal Mae Allen Pugh, Vernie Merie Allen.
Her funeral will be 10:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Riley Keeton Cemetery in Magoffin County. Visitation is 4-8:00 Wednesday.
