Danny Lee Watkins, husband of Judy Prater Watkins, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017. He was a 60 year old native of Montgomery County, son of Ida Willoughby Watkins and the late Earl Watkins, a construction worker and member of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a sister, Carolyn (Barry) Manning, 2 brothers, James Watkins and Bobby Joe (Christy) Watkins, a brother-in-law, Elzie (Sandy) Prater, all of Mount Sterling, 2 sisters-in-law, Tina (Keith) Lawson of Mount Sterling and Donna (Shawn) Walters of Jeffersonville and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Watkins.
His funeral is 11:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Prater Watkins Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Friday.
