Darrell Ray Walters, husband of Mary Rothwell Nester, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017. He was a 58 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Marion and Martha Banks Walters, and a farmer.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 daughters, Casondra Nester and Janet Lawill, 2 sons, Rodney and Tony Nester, 11 grandchildren, Elgin and Casey Lawill, Alexis, Carolina, Hunter, Damian, Diego, Nicole, Ana, Dixie and Ashley Nester, 2 great-grandchildren, Aaliyan Lawill and Mercedes Smith, and a brother, David Walters.
His funeral will be 11:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday.
