David C. Gay, husband of Linda Gay, of Jeffersonville, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015. He was a 77 year old native of Leslie County, Kentucky, son of the late Woolery and Olive Hale Gay, and a barber. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, David Mitchell (Cynthia) Gay and Doug Gay, 2 daughters, Heather (Bill) Gibbons and Tiffany (Drew) Stine, 6 grandchildren, Tabitha (Brian) Swell, Christopher and Caleb Gay, Madison and Mason Parks and Riley Stine, and 2 great-grandchildren, Kiah Goodpaster and Leila Sewell, and a brother, Bob (Bessie) Gay of Ohio. He was preceded in death by a brother, John Gay and a sister, Betty Mardia.
His funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9:00 Tuesday at the church. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
