Deltha Croucher Peters, widow of Elmer Lewis Peters, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, April 25, 2016. She was an 86 year old native of Rockcastle County, daughter of the late John S. and Fannie King Croucher, a retired employee from Essex Plant, and a member of Hope Church of God.
She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry Peters of Mt. Sterling and Jimmy Peters of Georgetown, a daughter, Gail Rice of Frankfort, 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, 3 sisters, 5 brothers, and a daughter-in-law.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Thursday.
