Edward Lee "Sam" James, husband of Patricia Brewer James, of Olympia, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016. He was a 53 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late William and Judy Hunt James, a self-employed scrapper and member of the Christian faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Hall, 2 grandsons, Austin and Justin Hall, 3 sisters, Mattie (Bruce) Jones, Jo Davis and Rene (Kirk) Ross, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Dee James and a brother, Bobby Allen James.
His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Withrow Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
