James Leslie Church, husband of Rita Webb Church, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015. He was a 48 year old native of Prestonsburg, son of the late Jack Leslie Church and Barbara Webb Church Kauffung of Cincinnati, Ohio, and was a truck driver for Scott-Gross.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by 2 sons, Colton Church of Cincinnati, Ohio and Clayton Church of Bradford, Ohio, 2 stepsons, T.J. Combs Jr. of Waynesville, Ohio and Joshua Combs of Dayton, Ohio, a granddaughter, Lilly Ann Grace Church, 6 stepgrandchildren, a sister, Cathy Blackburn of Mt. Sterling, a brother, Jack Church of Gettysburg, Ohio, and his stepfather, Thomas Kauffung of Cincinnati, Ohio.
His funeral will be 1:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11-1:00 Saturday.
