Margie Murphy Miller, widow of James Miller, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. She was an 80 year old native of Pike County, daughter of the late Hansel and Belvie Taylor Murphy, a homemaker and member of Camargo Church of Christ.
She is survived by a daughter, Evelyn Igo of Jeffersonville, 2 sons, Eddie (Patricia) Miller of Jeffersonville and Bruce (Gracie) Miller of Frenchburg, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Roberta Schwartz and Sharon Kay Kendrick, both of Tennessee and Anna Jones of Pikeville, and 2 brothers, Ronald Murphy of Pikeville and Earl Murphy of Virginia. She was preceded in death by a son, James E. Miller, a grandchild, Savannah Miller, a great-grandchild, Aiden Delk, a sister, Betty Harrison, and 2 brothers, Paul and Donald Murphy.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Thursday.
