Michael Adam Townsend, husband of Brandi Thompson Townsend, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017. He was a 38 year old son of Michael Gene Townsend and the late Ella Marie Holbrook Zennie, and a carpenter.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by 7 children, Hannah, Elizabeth, Emily, Bella and Hunter Townsend and Braden and Peyton Miller, maternal grandmother, Margie Holbrook, 3 sisters, Heather (Randy) Taylor, Nena (Jon) Butler and Gina (Ben) Hall, a brother, Barry (Amanda) Zennie Jr., his stepfather, Barry Zennie, and numerous nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Marie Zennie, his grandfather, Troy Holbrook and great-grandmother, Mammie.
His funeral will be 2:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Monday.
