Nannie Mae Haddix Leggett, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015. She was a 95 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Hannibal and Emma Bunner Haddix, a retired Jockey International employee and member of the Gateway Christian Church.
She is survived by a son, Robert (Barbara) Leggett of Mt. Sterlng, a daughter, Barbara(Tommy) Maddix of North Middletown, 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister, Wanda (Lucian) Clemons of Mt. Sterling and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Her funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Wednesday.
