Nora Lillian Robinson Martin, 87, widow of Gibson H. (Gip) Martin, passed away on July 21, 2015. She was born on July 13, 1928 in Wolfe County, KY to William Thomas and Lola Barnett Robinson. She was a retiree of Cowdens Manufacturing and lived most of her life in Montgomery County. Following the death of her husband, she lived in Paris, KY and Crescent City, FL before returning to Mt. Sterling. She was happiest being near her family and working on her patchwork quilts.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, precious granddaughhter, Dana Gwen Hutchison, brothers, Gordon, Carl, and Albert Robinson, and sisters, Esther Keith, Carrie Curtis, Loretta Rupard and Nettie Clay Moody.
Her funeral will be 10:30 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 6-9:00 Monday. Pallbearers: Chris & Paul Willoughby, Brent Hutchison, W.T. Margolen, Brian Baker, Doug Rupard, Gerald and Roy Clay Martin. Honorary bearers: Ted Miller, Eddie Bridges, Donnie Willoughby, Kyle Bowman, David Jones, Larry Hutchison, Tom Bowles and Tim Rupard.
