Phyllis Dean Wood Hedges, wife of Danny Hedges, of Paris, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016. She was a 75 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Andrew and Alphadean Coyle Wood, a former bank teller and beautician, and member of Spears Mill Baptist and Peyton's Lick Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Caven (Janna) Hedges of Richmond , a daughter, Dannita "Dee" (Jeff) Crossfield of Paris, 2 granddaughters, Alex (Chris) Damron and Raegan Crossfield, 2 grandsons, Dakota Hedges and Sawyer Crossfield, a sister, Connie Mann of Owingsville, and 2 brothers, Tom Wood of Mt. Sterling and Gary Wood of Hendersville, North Carolina.
Her funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Wednesday. Contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
