Richard Lee Black, husband of Elizabeth Ann Willoughby Black, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. He was an 85 year, old born in Muncie, Indiana to the union of the late Ova and Lauda Susan Hall Black, an Army and Air Force veteran, retired employee from Avon Army Depot after 32 years of service and a member of Grassy Lick Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Todd Black and a daughter, Tammi Black, both of Mt. Sterling, 2 stepsons, Greg (Rhonda) Bashford and William Charles (Tina) Bashford, 5 grandchildren, Lauren Bashford, Leah (Derrick) Turner, Emily (Cameron) Covey, Sarah Bashford and William Bashford, two brothers, Hugh (Carol) Black and David (Reva) Black.
His funeral will be 2:00 Sunday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with a graveside service in Machpelah Cemetery at 11:00 Monday. Visitation is 12-2:00 Sunday.
