Robert Maynard Adams, husband of Harriet Evelyn Jackson Adams, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2015. He was an 81 year old native of Leslie County, son of the late David and Nell Morgan Adams, an Army veteran, owner and operator of Green Acres Kennels, and member of the Baptist Church.
In additionn to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Dwain Earl Adams and Brian Scott Adams, both of Mt. Sterling, 3 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Hazel Turner of Jackson and Kathleen Back of Missouri, and a brother, Gene Adams of Jackson.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Adams, 2 sons, Robert Dale Adams and David Ray Adams, 2 sisters, Mary McIntosh and Flora Belle Collins, and a brother, Calvin Adams.
His funeral will be 10:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Todd Wiley presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 8-10:00 Saturday.
