Thelma Irene Bennett Centers, widow of William Thomas Centers, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016. She was a 94 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Rufus and Margaret Rogers Bennett, a homemaker and member of the Chrisitan Church.
She is survived by 2 sons, David (Janice) Centers of Mt. Sterling, and Gerald Centers of Springsboro, Ohio, a daughter, Margaret (Hubert) Mayo of Winchester, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Frank Thomas Centers, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Thursday.
