Timothy Equillis King, of Jeffersonville, passed away with his loving family gathered around him on Monday, January 22, 2018 at U.K. Medical Center from injuries sustained in an auto accident. He was a 51 year old native of Montgomery County, son of Equillis and Sue Moore King of Jeffersonville. He worked and traveled in several states and was currently employed by Chris Rankin at Rankin Industrial Services in Versailles. He was a member of the Christian faith, a graduate of Montgomery County High School Class of 1984, and Rowan County Vocational Technical College with a degree in computer design. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing guitar and the outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 brothers, Jason (Tina) King and Chris (Sonya) King, 3 nieces, Ashley King, Jacy Elkins and Stephanie Profitt, 3 nephews, Braydon King, Braxton King and Trevor Fulton, and a large number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, English and Mattie King, Solomon Moore and Hazel Moore Tipton.
His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funeral with burial in Moore Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
