Vincent Montel Mason, husband of Jeanette Garrett Mason, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016. He was a 51 year old native of Montgomery County, son of Fred and Anna Jones Mason of Mt. Sterling, a volunteer for the Parks and Recreation and a member of the Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by 2 stepsons, Andre McCall and James Fletcher of Mt. Sterling, a daughter, Shanese Mason of Lexington, a grandson, Aaron Mason, a brother, Darrell Mason of Lexington, and 2 sisters, Dinah Johnson of Winchester and Victoria Mason of Campbellsville.
His funeral will be 2:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Olive Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 11-2:00 Friday.
