Wayne Allen Parker, widower of Peggy Ann Turner Parker, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was a 61 year old native of Montgomery County, son of the late Harvey and Christine Poore Parker, and member of the Christian faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Parker of Mt. Sterling, 4 grandchildren, Dakota and Megan Staton, both of Menifee County, and Travis and Nicholas Estes, both of Mt. Sterling, 5 sisters, Patsy (Billy) Mapel of Jeffersonville, Mary Willoughby of Harrodsburg, Kathy Parker and Carolyn Fortner, both of Mt. Sterling, and Judy Parker of Camargo, and 2 brothers, Harlen (Maudie) Parker of Jeffersonville and Harvey (Agnes)Parker Jr. of Mt. Sterling.
His funeral will be 11:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machelah Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8:00 Thursday.
