William James Patton, husband of Pam (Collins) Patton, of Moorefield, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016. He was a 42 year old native of Montgomery County, son of Barbara Willoughby Patton of Moorefield and the late Anthie James Patton, and a farmer.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by 2 sons, William Cody Patton and Austin James Patton, a sister, Rebecca (Chris) Riley, and several aunts, uncles and 5 nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Anthie Ray Patton.
His funeral will be 1:00 Friday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Patton-Riley Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Friday. Contributions are suggested to the funeral home to assist the family. Pallbearers are William Cody Patton, Austin James Patton, Roy Powell, Jamie, Amanda and Johnathan Patton, Rebecca and Aaron Riley, Shane Vice and Rob House. Honorary pallbearers are Willie Razor, David and StevenThornsburg, Chris Riley, Rick Crump, Kevin, Ed, Lewis and Marvin Collins, Virgil Harrison and Jimmy Cox.
