Willis "Bill" Linwood Cox, widower of Geniva Clay Daniel Cox, of Jeffersonville, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was an 86 year old native of Montgomery county, son of the late Millard and Carrie Bell Pasley Cox, an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired employee from Mt. Sterling Office Supply, and member of Little Ella United Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Treva (Ronnie) Roe, granddaughter, Stephanie Corey McGuire (Kyle Lewis), a great-grandson, Joshua Will Scott Corey, a brother, Gerald (Natallie) Cox, and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wilma Cox Loman, and a brother, Paul Edward Cox.
His funeral will be 4:00 Sunday at Little Ella United Baptist Church with burial in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals and 2-4:00 Sunday at the church.
