Wilma Gearheart Combs, widow of Dock Aaron Combs, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was a 90 year old native of Floyd County, daughter of the late Benjamin and Frona Dyer Gearheart, as well as a long time housewife and mother.
She is survived by 2 sons, Don (Sheree) Combs of Paris,and Jerry (Debbie) Combs of Lexington, 2 daughters, Sharon (Gary) Young of Lexington,and Dareen Caudill of Mt. Sterling, 6 grandchildren, Jason and Jarrod (Jenny) Combs, Lindsey (David) Jones, Joseph Young, Marissa (Enoch) Eubank, Matt (Brandi) Caudill, 10 great-grandchildren, Marshall and Nora Caudill, Miranda, Jodie, Jordan, and Marlee Combs, Elijah, Liliana, and Kathryn Young, and 5 sisters, Erma Prater, Iola Little, Loretta Parker, Eleanor Davis, and Shelah (Ashland) Derossett.
Her funeral will be Monday, 1:00 pm at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Monday
