Linda Fern (Wells) Gabbard

Linda Fern Wells Gabbard, wife of Thomas Gabbard, passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at her residence in Mt. Sterling, KY. She was a 63 year old born in Montgomery County, KY to the late Robert "Bobby" and Alice Loveless Wells, a registered dietician and member of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Thomas Gabbard; a daughter, Mallory Dehart (Jon); 2 grandchildren, Levi Dehart and Seth Dehart; 2 brothers, Robert Wells Jr. (Valerie Combs) and Allen Wells (Nancy); a sister, Diana McGuire (Keith); 3 nephews, Justin Wells, Elijah Wells and Adam Jackson; along with a niece, Amy Willoughby. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Alice Wells.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Patrick Lager and Keith McGuire presiding with burial to follow in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Robert Wells, Allen Wells, Justin Wells, Elijah Wells, Garrett Wells and Jon Dehart. Honorary Pallbearers are John Gabbard, Jim Gabbard, Adam Jackson, Darvin Jackson, Tony Terry, Seth Dehart and Levi Dehart.

Arrangements are placed in the care of Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
