Alma McGuire Obituary

Alma Marie Corey McGuire, widow of Billy Joe McGuire, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018. She was an 84 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Clay and Ada Pergram Corey, a homemaker and member of Spring Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Loretta (Danny) Stevenson and Areeda (Edgar) Creech, 2 sons, Jackie (Lula) Holder and Bill (Tracie) Holder, 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Lawson, a son, Jr. Holder, 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

Her funeral will be 11:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Sunday.
