Anna Cornwell Obituary

Anna Fay Riddle Cornwell, widow of Willard Cornwell, of Jeffersonville, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018. She was a 72 year old native of Prestonsburg, daughter of the late Estill Lyhue and Nannie Birchfield Riddle, and former business owner.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Monna Jarman of Jeffersonville and Kimberly (Eugene) Markland of Mt. Sterling, a son, Foley Cornwell of Jeffersonville, 8 grandchildren, BJ Bailey, Audrey Boyne, Kenneth Markland, Heather Sutton, Christopher Johnson, Harley Johnson, Fred Johnson and Gregory Cornwell, many great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, Wendell (Melissa) Riddle of Prestonsburg and Chester (Mary) Riddle of Michigan.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Johnson, a sister, Vernie Lewis, a brother, Gary Riddle, and 3 grandchildren, Jessica and Gary Markland and Danella Johnson.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Sunday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lewis Cemetery. Visitation is 6-8:00 Saturday.
