Catherine Pauline (Parsons) Bowling

Catherine Pauline Parsons Bowling, widow of James W. Bowling, of Clark County, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019. She was a 83 year old native of Mt. Alto, West Virginia, daughter of the late Josephine and Robert Parsons, and member of the Ark of Mercy Church of God.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Deborah (Bob) Kasmar and Robin Reece, a son, Pastor Vic (Hazel) Bowling, 6 grandchildren, Mary (Dan) Filicich, Jessica (Donny) Loosemore, Chris (Kristin) Kasmar, Tony (Stephanie) Kasmar, Stephen (Suzanne) Booth, and her little buddy, Donnie Booth, 17 great-grandchildren, a sister, Leota Wolfe, and 2 brothers, Carl (Nancy) Ray and Jimmy (Joanne) Parsons.

Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James W. Bowling, as well as 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Ark of Mercy Church of God, with burial to follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 5:00-8:00 Tuesday at the church.  Contributions are suggested to Ark of Mercy Coffee House.  Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is entrusted with arrangements.
