Dennis Anderson Obituary

Dennis Roger Anderson, widower of Della Mae Hopkins Anderson, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was a 67 year old native of Pike County, son of the late Luther and Gay McCoy Anderson, a coal miner and member of the Christian faith.

He is survived by 3 sons, Dennis Anderson (Kacy Johnson), Luie Anderson, and Jason Ray Scott, 2 daughters, Denise Anderson Bailey and Brandi Anderson, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, 8 sisters, Geraldine Johnson, Magaline Mullins, Juanita Wellman, Vickie Fraley, Carrie Barrowman, Elizabeth Coleman, Lillian Little and Tammy Lockheart and special friends, Nancy and Peanut. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Russell and Timmy Anderson and a sister, Geraldine Johnson.

There will be a memorial service for him at a later date. Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
