Denver Ray Elliott, widower of Clay Willoughby Elliott, of Xenia, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017. He was a 72 year old native of Barboursville, Kentucky, son of the late Alex and Katherine Howard Elliott, retired employee from a foundry, and member of the Baptist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Ellen (Steve) Bissey, a son, Alex Elliott, 2 grandchildren, Steven (Tasha) Ellsberry and Heather Thompson, 5 great-grandchildren, Jason and Bethany Thompson, Denver, Thomas and Madilynn Ellsberry, a brother, David Elliott and 3 sisters, Claracy Bell, Evelyn Kilgore and Sherry Knox. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen Elliott, and 3 sisters, Nadine Rose, Shirley Dorsey and Leslie Warfield.
His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Martin Willoughby Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
