Freddie Boggs

Freddie Boggs, husband of Anna Coffey Boggs, of Owingsville, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2018.  He was a 75 year old native of Jackson County, son of the late Luther and Mamie Wilson Boggs, a retired employee from General Motors, and a member of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Terry Boggs of Owingsville and Keith (Amie) Boggs of Lakeland, Florida, a daughter, Cynthia (David) Yelverton of Pikeville, Tennessee, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a brother, Alfred Boggs of Florida, and 3 sisters, Lois Winterger of Tennessee, Helen Gilliam of London, and Lula Wells of Indiana.  He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Billy and Gene Boggs and a sister, June McGeorge.

His funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Longview Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday.
