Gordon Wade Obituary

Gordon Wade, husband of Mary Ann Tapp Wade, of Sharpsburg, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was a 75 year old native of Newport, Kentucky, son of the late David and Dorothy Mann Wade, an Army veteran and painter.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gordon Sherman (Chasity) Wade, 3 daughters, Michelle Garland, Starr and Brianna Wade, 2 stepsons, Terry Norris and Nick (Danielle) Norris, 11 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, David (Violet) Wade and Clark Wade. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Bonnie Anderson and Juanita Little, and a brother, Gregory Wade.

His funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Ray Stacy presiding, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
