Gracie Frances Price Bush, widow of Grover Bush, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was an 85 year old native of Morgan County, daughter of the late Robert Lee and Myrtle Meek Price, a homemaker and member of Owingsville First Church of God. She was a Girl Scout Granny to troops #5358 and #492.
She is survived by a son, Andrew Bush of Mt. Sterling, 3 daughters, Mary Frances Shanks (James), Betty Jo Stull (Frank), and Janet K. King (Chester), all of Mt. Sterling, a sister, Evelina McKinzie of Indiana, 27 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, 2 brothers-in-law, Arthur (Brenda) Bush and Vernon Bush, and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Bush. She was also survived by best friends, Norean Hiler Hatton, Ardith Daniel Glass (Robert), Michelle Jolley, special nephews, June (Mary) Bush Jr., 3 special nieces, Annie Nipper, Becky Nipper Holbrook and Brenda (Albert) Ingram.
She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Walter Raymond Bush and Henry L.C. Bush, 4 brothers, Raymond Lee Price, Joseph Curtis Price, Rollie Price and Robert Franklin Price, 7 sisters, Judy Katherine Blackborn, Stella Faye Bush, Ida Mae Nipper, Mollie VanCleve, Minnie Ferguson, Edna Price and Geneva Cash VanCleve, and 5 grandchildren, Curtis Wayne Bush, Walter "Bo" Hunt Jr., Anna Marie Bush, Loura Kay Faith King and Brayden Grover Chester King.
Her funeral will be 11:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Lowell Rice presiding, with burial in Fortune Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Monday.
