Helen Janice Harmon Cartmill, widow of Shirley Cartmill, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was a 78 year old native of Fleming County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Aubrey and Mary Dorothy McKee Harmon, and retired employee from Sylvania.
She is survived by 2 sons, Greg (Donna) Cartmill and Jamie Cartmill, 2 grandchildren, Trevor and Gabe Cartmill, 3 sisters, Agatha Brannon, Sandy Purvis and Pam (Charles) Palmer, and 4 brothers, Ronnie (Judy) Harmon, Lynn (Judy) Harmon, Anthony Harmon and George (Glenda) Harmon. She was preceded in death by a brother, Verlin Harmon and a grandson, Tyson Cartmill.
Her funeral will be 1:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Thursday.
