Karen Piersawl Obituary

Karen Jessie Piersawl, wife of Gary Piersawl, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Tuesday, July 10,2018. She was a 68 year old native of Boyd County, daughter of the late Arvil and Emma Everman Jessie, a home health caregiver and member of the Christian faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by 4 sons, Paul (Linda) Wilson of Winchester, Larry, Steven and Jason Blevins, all of Mt. Sterling, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Sharon Johnson, Teresa Blanton and Kathy Smith, and 4 brothers, John, Tim, Tom and Rick Jessie. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frankie Jessie.

Her funeral will be 2:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Camp Nelson Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Thursday.
