Mary (McGuire) Miller

Mary McGuire Miller, widow of Farmer Miller, passed away Friday, August 30, 2019. She was an 85 year old born in Floyd County, KY to the union of the late Frank and Ella Scutchfield McGuire, a retired nursing assistant and member of Little Ella United Baptist Church.   She is survived by 2 sons, Berman (Sheila) Miller and Darrell Miller, 1 daughter, Sandra (Gary) Bailey, 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 great-grandchildren, Ryan Chandler Spears and Jamie Bowling, 4 brothers, Parmer, Bill, Virgil, and Sam McGuire, and 7 sisters, Marie Shepherd, Susan Shepherd, Katie Prunty, Mae Ballard, Flary Back, Ruth Bays, and Naomi McGuire.

Her funeral will be 11:00 Tuesday at Little Ella United Baptist Church with Brothers Steve McGuire, Tom McGuire, Roger McGuire, Lenford Nelson, and Ronnie Nelson presiding and burial in McGuire Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 Monday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
