Mary Frances (Hunt) Toy

Mary Frances Hunt Toy, widow of Claude  Toy Jr., of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, April 11, 2019.  She was an 88 year old native of Montgomery County, daughter of the late Charlie and Virgie Stevenson Hunt, retired owner and operator of Toy's KY Food Store, and member of the Christian faith.

She is survived by 2 sons, Claude Raymond "Buddy" Toy and Roger Allen (Dorothy) Toy, 5 grandchildren, Marie Holland, Brad Toy, Erica Harvey, Jeremy Toy and Kelly Fawns, 7 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Toy Hart, a brother, Charles Lewis Hunt and a sister, Anne Gillen.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Rev. Darrell Hayden presiding, with burial in Machpelah Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5-8:00 Monday.  Pallbearers are Brad Toy, Duncan Toy, Jeremy Toy, Brandon Keaton, Roger White and Greg Gillin.  Honorary pallbearers are Larry Davis, Philip Woodard, Gary Thompson, Robby Cartmill, Kenny Toy, Roger Lyman , Perry Orme and Bill Gillin.
