Maxine Amburgey Obituary

Maxine Montgomery Amburgey, widow of Billy Amburgey, of Jeffersonville, passed away Monday, January 28, 2019. She was a 91 year old native of Magoffin County, daughter of the late Bruce and Delpha Jenkins Montgomery, retired owner and operator of Amburgey's Service Supply and a member of Freedom Church of God.

She is survived by a daughter, Judy (Tom) Prater and a grandson, William "Hoss" Prater, a sister-in-law, Barbara Amburgey, a brother-in-law, Frank (Margaret) Amburgey and special friend and caregiver, Patty Craig.

Her funeral will be 11:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 5-9:00 Sunday.
