Pauline (Byrd) Deaton

Pauline Byrd Deaton, widow of Wilmer Deaton, of Means, passed away Monday, January 13, 2020.  She was a 77 year old native of Menifee County, daughter of the late Foy and Grace Carter Byrd, and a retired cook. 

She is survived by 2 sons, Ricky (Avavan) Deaton and Timothy Ray Deaton, 3 daughters, Barbara Tuttle, Naomi Deaton, and Lisa (Jason) Mann, 11 grandchildren, Crystal Henderson, Charlie Tuttle, Kandace Lewis, Cody Ray Deaton, Jordan Mann, Amber Reeves, Carter Linebaugh, Makaylan Linebaugh, Khloe Caskey, Addalyn Caskey and Jenna LeeAnn Mullins, 6 great-grandchildren, Ryan Henderson, Kimberly Henderson, Jaxson Wayne Mann, Ayson Schooler, Alysa Jade Schooler and Weston Clay Mullins, and 2 sisters, Maudie Crouch, and Jeanne Brennen.  She was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Wayne Deaton, 3 brothers, Stanley Byrd, Roy Byrd and Russell Byrd and a sister, Mildred Sapp.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Saturday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Joey Rogers presiding, with burial in  Smith Cemetery.  Visitation is 11-1:00 Saturday.
