Priscilla Ann Hatton Ray, wife of Everett "Doodle" Cornwell, of Owingsville, passed away Monday, July 24, 2017. She was a 74 year old, born in Bourbon County to the union of the late Pierce and Roxie Jackson Hatton, a homemaker and member of Blevins Valley Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Lindsey (Robert) May of Owingsville, a son, Destil "Buddy" (Rhonda) Ray Jr., 6 grandchldren, Robert "Robbie" May, Walter "Bubby" May, Brandy (Robert) Daniels, Nichole Walker, Jennifer and Tyler Ray, 2 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Blake Daniels, a sister, Gladys (Bergin) Hatton Tuttle and a brother, Paul Hatton.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mary and Jessie James Jackson, paternal grandparents, Vertner and Bessie Hatton, a brother, Vertner (Katherine) Hatton, and 3 sisters, Alice (James) Hatton Carpenter and Judy (Winfred) Hatton Alley.
Her funeral will be 11:00 Thursday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Wednesday.
