Roscoe Carroll Obituary

Roscoe Carroll, widower of Frances Ruth Carroll, of Mt. Sterling, passed away August 15, 2018. He was a 90 year old native of Wolfe County, son of the late Captain Nathan and Cordia Tyler Carroll, a retired heavy equipment operator and member of the Church of God.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Shirlee (Vernon) Coffey of Mt. Sterling and Della (Tucker) Hardin of Salt Lick, 2 sons, Jim (Jody) Carroll of Mt. Sterling, and Roger (Betsy) Carroll of Oak Hill, West Virginia, 7 grandchildren, Terri Vance, Tracy Carroll, Ann-Marye Beckham, Christin Carroll, Erin Royal, Josh Carroll and Brandon Carroll, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchld, 2 brothers, Ray Carroll of Lima, Ohio and Paul Carroll of Mansfield, Ohio and a special family friend, Barbara Hisle. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

His funeral will be 11:00 Monday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Machpelah Cemetery. Visitation is 5-8:00 Sunday.
