Roy Lee Coldiron

Roy Lee Coldiron, of Mt. Sterling, passed away May 26, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital.  He was a 76 year old native of Wolfe County, born April 29, 1942, son of the late Luther and Lizzie Elam Coldiron, and a retired bus driver.

He is survived by a daughter, Tina (Tim) Alfrey, 2 sons, John (Sharon) Coldiron, and Bradley (Robin) Coldiron, 13 grandchildren, Allison Kelly, Jeremy Coldiron, Jordon Kelly, Talisha Alfrey, Shannah Coldiron, Kylee Davidson, Jimmy Coldiron, Johnny Coldiron, Shayla Joseph, Jonathan Adams, Kara Davidson, Glenna Asbury, and Kara Estepp,  2 great-grandchildren, Rhaeleigh Cook and Landyn Kelly, all of Mt. Sterling, a special friend, Heidi McMillen, 2 sisters, Fannie (Jim) Haney, and Virginia (John) Taylor, and 2 brothers, Larry Leggett and Stanley Leggett.. 

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Franklin Coldiron and Samuel Coldiron and a sister, Ethel Ballard.

His funeral will be 11:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery.  Visitation is 5-8:00 Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family.
