Stephen Earl Eastering, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019. He leaves behind his wife, Debbie Butcher Easterling, a son, Stephen Brian (Thitiya) Easterling, of Melborne, FL, a daughter, Stacy (James) Perry, of Versailles, a stepson, Billy (Heather) Toy, a stepdaughter, Allyson Toy, seven grandchildren, Angela Easterling, James William Perry, Benjamin Edward Perry, Logan Toy, Skyler Toy, Carley Anderson, and Jerod Anderson, a great-granddaughter, Braylynn, 2 sisters, Carol Berryman of Mt. Sterling, Charlotte (Henry) Bressler of Jeffersonville, 2 brothers, Terry (Tammy) Easterling of Jeffersonville and Rodney (Cleah) Easterling of Camargo. He was preceded in death by his father, James "Blue" Easterling, his mother, Hazel Maloney Easterling, and a sister, Janet Collins. He was employed at Kroger's for 52 years, was of the Christian faith and a member of the First Church of God in Owingsville.
His funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Keith McGuire and Pastor Lowell Rice presiding, with burial in Lovely Amburgey Cemetery. Visitation is 11-1:00 Wednesday. Pallbearers are James William Perry, Benjamin Edward Perry, Terry Easterling, Rodney Easterling, Henry Bressler, Bobbie Collins, Keith Collins, Andrew Easterling, Jan Puetthoff and Eric Berryman. Honorary pallbearers are Stephen Brian Easterling, James Perry, Jimmy Gross, Greg Arnett, Barney Billy Toy, Matt Pugh, Jacob Boggs, Trinity Bressler and Gary Butcher. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Owingsville First Church of God.
