Steven King Manley, 71, of Mt. Sterling, KY, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at his home. He was born November 11, 1947 in Mt. Sterling, KY. He was the son of the late Dixie and Charlie Lyons of Bethel, KY. He was employed for 38 years with BellSouth. He was a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Sterling, KY.
He is survived by Gail Oakley Manley, a daughter, Suzanne (Sean) Manley of New Mexico, three sons, King (Tanya) Metcalf of Owingsville, KY, Brad (Bridgette) Manley of Martinsville, VA, and Jordan Manley of Mt. Sterling, three grandchildren, Lane Manley of Martinsville, VA, Corbin Manley of Minot, ND and Abbi Burnham of Mt. Sterling, KY, and one brother, Darwin Thomas (Rita) Manley of Bethel, KY. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gregory Lane Manley.
His funeral will be 2:00 Wednesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals, Pastor Lloyd Latimer presiding, with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 12-2:00 Wednesday. Pallbearers are Johnny Jefferson, Mike Fraley, Ted Bilbrey, Ricky Witt, Joe Ray and Trace Mitchell.
