Willa Stockton

Willa Stockton, of Mt. Sterling, passed away Thursday, November 7th, 2019. She was a 99 year old native of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, daughter of the late William H. Overstreet and Lula Howard Overstreet, a housewife and member of Keas CME Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Sherry Stockton Blanton and Conchita (Hobert Owens Jr.) Stockton, 7 grandchildren, Marlon, Michael, Traci and Jakki Blanton, Tikesha, Darrien and Duran Owens, 7 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Jonell Overstreet, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Stockton and siblings, Anna Margaret Overstreet, Mary Overstreet, Amanda O. Alston and William Overstreet, and 2 grandchildren, Kwaii Blanton and Sherri Owens.

Her funeral will be 1:00 Wednesday at Keas CME Church, Rev. Greg Bonner presiding, with burial to follow at Olive Hill Cemetery. Visitation is 11:00-1:00 Wednesday.  Arrangements are entrusted to Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals.
