ALICE (INGRAM) WATKINS

Alice Ingram Watkins, age 60, of Jeffersonville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 21, 2024.  Alice was born to the union of the late Marvin Ingram and Margaret Hunt on October 20, 1964.  She was a former employee at Cooper Tire.  Alice loved being with her family, especially her ‘Grands’ more than any.

Alice is survived by her 2 daughters, Nikki (Gary Lane) Watkins of Jeffersonville, Lacey (Joshua) Townsend of Jeffersonville; her mother Margaret Hunt of Frenchburg, 7 grandchildren-Joseph, Isaiah, Wylder, Jackson, Dominic, Kamron and Katie; 2 great grandchildren Damies and Jasper; 1 sister Denise Lawson of Bath Co., 1 brother Tim Hunt of Menifee Co.

Besides her father, Alice was preceded in death by her husband Tony Joe Watkins and 1 grandson Wyatt Townsend.

Funeral Services will be Friday, December 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Herald & Stewart Chapel. Family and Friends can visit from 9:00 a.m. up until time of service.  Officiating will be Jim Skidmore.

Burial will follow at the West Cemetery in Montgomery County.

Pallbearers: Joseph Hagerman, Isaiah Hagerman, Kamron Saville, Gary Lane, Jerry McCarty Jr.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations be made to Herald & Stewart to assist with the funeral expenses.
